Monideepa Sarma

Monideepa's professional journey spans more than twenty-five years across government programmes, international organisations, development institutions and civil society. Throughout that work, she has translated policy intent into systems that communities can participate in, trust and sustain.

Her experience reaches from institutional planning to field execution, giving her a grounded understanding of how programmes succeed across different administrative, social and geographic contexts.

She has contributed to World Bank-assisted watershed programmes, CAPART under the Ministry of Rural Development, NABCONS, MPEDA, Volunteer Service Overseas in the United Kingdom and Appropriate Technology India, alongside livelihood, natural-resource management and disaster-rehabilitation initiatives.

Working across public, international and grassroots settings has enabled her to connect government systems, development partners and community institutions around shared outcomes.

Her work includes integrated micro-plans, watershed development plans, social audits, capacity-building programmes, impact assessments, livelihood initiatives, gender inclusion, eco-tourism models, natural-resource management and institutional development.

Across hundreds of villages, these efforts have supported rural livelihoods, women's empowerment, stronger local institutions and more sustainable approaches to community development.

Monideepa has served as a Master Trainer, Project Evaluator, Guest Faculty, Programme Designer and Institutional Advisor. These roles reflect an ability to move comfortably between programme strategy, organisational learning, evaluation and on-ground capability building.

At KINIKH Group, she guides institutional partnerships, community-facing initiatives, governance frameworks, organisational capability and sustainability priorities across the wider ecosystem. Her remit extends beyond a single venture to the social and institutional foundations shared by the Group.
